Process engineer - (State College, PA)

The Process Engineer will develop and evaluate manufacturing processes, confirm system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods, improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow and equipment layout, lead and support the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process, manage manufacturing documentation required for product manufacturing, work with Product Engineering on new product development, complete design and development projects by training and mentoring technicians and prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing inforamtion and trends.A Bachelors degree in an Engineering or related technical field is required as well as five years of related skills. Thorough knowledge of process engineering concepts, practices and procedures, excellent troubleshooting skills, excellent verbal and written correspondence abilities and a basic understanding of project management techniques are essential.
