Materials and Process Engineer - (Owego, NY)

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the production of electronic assemblies. Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance. Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields. Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement on a variety of production processes. Necessary experience: Required background Familiarity with common manufacturing processes & Bachelors in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering or related degree from accredited college/university.
