Quality Test Engineer - (Chelsea, MI)

Responsibilities: Hands on vehicle expert for vehicle level testing. Ensure that customer issues are identified, reported and resolved prior to product launch. Duties consist of: root cause analysis, hands-on vehicle evaluations/diagnosis, application of diagnostic tools/equipment, collecting and analyzing data, reporting and documenting issues, presenting info both written and verbal, participating in/facilitating meetings, directing drivers, mechanics and technicians, along with competitive vehicle benchmarking. Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree, Engineering discipline Hands-on vehicle background Knowledge of vehicle systems (Powertrain, BIW, Exterior, Interior, Chassis, Electrical) Application of diagnostic tools/calibration background Expertise to collect and synthesize data into meaningful info and communicate clearly to all levels of the organization Current expertise of computer systems and software required Proficient in Ms office and Google Suite Self-directed
