Senior Civil Engineer - (Binghamton, NY)

Job overview Responsibilities: Provide structural and foundation design of medium to large size engineering projects, more specifically MV and HV electric power substations and transmission & distribution. Define and review scope of work, prepare engineering estimate at both proposal and design level and schedule for civil/structural engineering portion of work in a project. Prepare accurate and complete designs and calculations, and ensure conformity and completeness of conceptual and detailed engineering packages against project qualifications and specifications while following good industry practices. Approve civil engineering (above/inground) packages to be issued for construction. Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning by responding to requests for info, solving site queries and problems, attending site meetings.
