MD/DO - Infectious Disease Physician - Appleton, WI - (Appleton, WI)

Position overview ThedaCare, a nationally respected health system in northeast Wisconsin, seeks a BE/BC Infectious Disease Physician. The new Physician will join David J. Brooks, MD, an established and respected Infectious Disease specialist. This position is both consultative Infectious Disease in the inpatient setting, as well as seeing patients in the outpatient clinic setting. The clinical population is diverse, including 25-30% HIV, surgical and community acquired infections and a busy oncology practice. A referral base of 150 primary care physicians are committed to partner with the Infectious Disease practice for inpatient and outpatient consultations. The physicians have excellent support staff, including Advanced Practice Clinicians and infusion and wound care nursing staff. The providers also have a close working relationship with ThedaCare Home Care services.
