Editor in Chief, Physical Sciences Open Access - (Cambridge, MA)

To expand our commitment to the physical sciences community, Cell Press will be launching a broad-interest, high quality, open-access journal serving researchers in the general area of physical sciences. We are seeking a visionary, insightful Editor-in-Chief to lead this initiative. The Editor-in-Chief will have the unique opportunity to shape a prominent journal in vibrant fields of research and lead the editorial team according to his or her creative vision. As a respected member of the global research community, the Editor-in-Chief will create a high-impact journal grounded in a strong understanding of the different fields and the needs of authors, readers, and reviewers. S/he will be responsible for defining the aims, scope, and formats for the journal, building a strong network of leading researchers working in relevant areas, recruiting exciting studies, and ensuring the quality and value of the journal as a forum for the best work across the entire field.
