Subsidiary: McLaren Health Care - McLaren Health Care is looking for Patient Account Representatives withMedicare Revenue Cycle Background to join the Corporate Revenue Cycle Team. We have several opportunities for the right applicants. Work Location: The permanent work site will be at the located inShelby Township. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Patient Representative will be responsible for 1 or more of the following functions:Claim Follow-up. Representatives will support the McLaren Health Care System subsidiaries and external customers and vendors as part of the Revenue Cycle Central Business Office. FOLLOW UP: Responsible for follow-up with 3rd party payors for inpatients and outpatients treated in the hospital and clinic necessary to obtain payment and/or a resolution of patient accounts within insurance time filing limits. Performs necessary maintenance to patient accounts in the hospital and claims editing systems.
