Accounts Payable Specialist - (Stephenville, TX)

Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals has an immediate opening in the accounting department of our management company. We are seeking a team member to work as full time office staff. Individual will be expected to manage multiple sets of books for related companies, requiring previous background in book keeping or accounting. If you are a self-motivated individual looking to be challenged in a fast-paced environment, this could be the job for you. Duties include but are not limited to: Fees expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments. Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
