Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Equipment) - (Bethlehem, PA)

The Opportunity | Mechanical Engineer Main responsibilities * Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications. * Develop drawings and ordering data for components based on customer requirements. * Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and reports. * Using sound engineering analysis and judgment to develop recommendations for non-conforming material as needed. * Provide engineering design, support, and training to the manufacturing areas, and assess new and existing equipment to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness. * Assist in assembly and test departments to ensure pumps meet customer requirements. Document test results via technical test reports. * Train technicians and operators in manufacturing procedures to ensure consistent adherence of process specifications/standards and procedures.
