Human Resources Assistant - (Huntington, WV)

Overview Provide Clerical Support in the Human Resources offices. Responsibilities Records employee details such as personal data, compensation, tax data, attendance, termination date and reason Updates employee files to document personnel actions and to provide other pertinent info with regards to employee personnel files Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provides details to authorized persons Compiles data from personnel info for reports Prepares all paper work for new hire employee Schedule candidates, coordinate interviews and maintain application flow data Answers basic inquiries from employees to refer the employee on to HR Generalist or HR Manager for further assistance Answer telephones within the HR office Adhere to Company attendance, punctuality, and meal and rest break requirements Maintain concentration and focus in order to meet performance goals React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
