Corporate Paralegal - (Fort Defiance, AZ)

MIN EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Associate's Degree required. Bachelor degree preferred. Paralegal Program or a tribal advocate license preferred. Member of the Navajo Nation Bar Association or the expertise to obtain the Navajo Nation Bar within one year of employment. 2-four years of legal experience in a private, public or government. Utility law experience desired. Navajo law experience preferred. Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle review). JOB ASSIGNMENTS AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: Provides legal administrative assistance involving various areas of law, such as contracts, proposals, leases, and employment. Prepares contracts related to construction projects, services agreements, purchase orders, and related utility service agreements. Provides assistance in review of contracts, leases, and other legal documents; researches legal questions, analysis problems and prepares memoranda and correspondence.
