Grant Writer/Recreation Programs Coordinator - (Brighton, MI)

LOCATION: Administration Office BARGAINING UNIT / LEVEL: Professional Level 6/8/10 COMPENSATION RANGE: $55,758 - $84,956 annually DOQ GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Under the supervision of the Chief of Planning & Development, this position will work directly with park staff to collaboratively plan, develop and implement comprehensive recreation programs, special recreation events and activities designed to generate revenue and increase the diversity of the Metroparks visitors. Will develop and write grant proposals to foundations and other public & private grant-making organizations, and will persuasively communicate HCMA's mission and programs to potential funders. MIN REQUIREMENTS for Level 6: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, English, writing or similar field. Candidates with eight or more years of related service will be given credit toward meeting the min educational requirements and will be considered for the position.
