Software Systems Engineer The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking applicants for a software systems engineer to work in the Deployed Sustainable Programs (DSP) Branch in the C4ISR Division. The selected applicant will work directly with program management, engineers (mostly software engineers), software testers, and technical writers to ensure the successful program execution and technical solutions for DSP Branch customers, which include all branches of the US Military. The selected applicant will help direct, lead, and implement contractual requirements from our customers and look for ways to improve our engineering processes and software architecture. Responsibilities include:. Working with program management to fully understand program requirements, schedule deadlines, and funding constraints. Helping to develop engineering schedules and coordinating with program managers to ensure that all technical program deliveries and milestones are met.
