System Engineer - (Pittsburgh, PA)

ModCloth has an exciting new opportunity for a Systems Engineer in our Pittsburgh, PA office The Systems Engineer will have responsibilities to the deployment automation, public and private cloud infrastructure management, systems scalability, and building a service oriented architecture. Reporting to the Senior DevOps Engineer, you will take responsibility for operational aspects of the customer facing infrastructure (web application platform, supporting databases, application servers, micro-services, etc), the internal business intelligence infrastructure, and the monitoring of the operations infrastructure. Bridging the gap to development, you will be responsible for adding project to and growing the deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, working closely with Engineering/Development to release and maintain code. This will require scripting, deploying APIs, monitoring infrastructure and performance of code run at scale in production. Who you are…A tinkerer, experimenter and weekend hacker.
