Technical Writer/Editor with Security Clearance - (Millington, TN)

Overview Capstone is seeking a Technical Writer to support the Navy's Manpower Personnel Training Education Enterprise (MPTE) Technical Services Support (TSS) contract in Millington, TN. Responsibilities * Creates from scratch and/or edits existing technical documents including, but not limited to: white papers, reports, letters, user manuals, briefings and presentations, system specifications, functional specifications, user/help guides, memos, meeting minutes, agendas, special reports, standard operating procedures and other project deliverables. * Researches and gathers technical and experience details for inclusion in documents. * Determines the needs of end users of technical documentation. * Studies product samples and talks with product designers and developers. * Uses photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase the understanding of the target audience. * Selects appropriate medium for message or audience, such as manuals, briefs or formal presentations.
