Senior Mechanic - (Searsport, ME)

GAC Chemical Corporation has an immediate full time opening for a Senior Mechanic. The primary assignments include: --Cargo Trailer repairs, specifically: brake replacement, troubleshooting 12v electrical lighting systems, hydraulic systems, repairs to suspension and main running gear. --Current expertise of air brake and ABS systems. --Proficiency in small engine/compressor rebuilds. --Cutting Torch and Plasma Arc background. --Strong demonstrated expertise with Stick, Tig and Mig Welding. Certification a plus. --Expertise to perform Millwright tasks such as Pipefitting, Rigging, Fiberglassing and PVC pipe repair with at least five years industrial mechanical exposure.
