Job description Under general direction, provides organizational leadership in the development, implementation and maintenance of service consistent with the Mission, Vision, Values and Strategic Plan of the Mary Greeley Medical Center. Leader understands, supports, communicates, and promotes hospital initiatives. Ensures all actions taken in carrying out responsibilities support patient centered care and a respectful work enviornment. Job duties Unit Specific Job requirements Trains and supervises the work of the food production staff. Plans menus for all foodservice locations to include patient menu and room service menus. Responsible for holiday menu planning and special function menus for catering and cafeteria. Conducts regular physical inventories of food supplies and places all food orders for all food service components. Ensures that the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen areas and all food service spaces.
