Senior software engineer - application programmer - (Honolulu, HI)

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company is currently seeking to fill the position of a Senior Software Engineer & Application Developer. The qualified applicant will provide Software engineering and Maintenance Support for exercises with PACOM LOGCOP on SIPRNet and other Logistics Info Systems for Joint Exercise Support. Specific assignments include the following: Adhere to the Software engineering Life-cycle as defined by the Government Elicit technical qualifications that define Government-approved capabilities and/or enhancements. Create the technical qualifications document using a Government-approved template. Produce design specifications that utilize the standardized software architecture established by USPACOM J466.Reuse existing software modules as necessary. Collaborate with the Government to produce mock-ups of the user interface (UI) pages. Submit the final design specifications and UI mock-ups to the Government for review and acceptance.
