Packing Support 1 - (Hopkinsville, KY)

This position is responsible for supporting all areas of Production to produce a finished product which meets internal manufacturing customer specifications and all Quality, Food Safety, and Food Defense qualifications. Responsibilities: * Work graveyard shift from 7:00PM - 7:30AM * Read and follow directions correctly, written and verbal, continuously. * Stand and walk on a cement floor, continuously. * Bend and lift, using proper lifting techniques, up to 50 pounds., occasionally. * Climb and balance on an eighteen to 20 feet ladder, occasionally. * Twist at waist and reach at or below shoulder height, frequently. * Expertise to support production at line standards, continuously (i.e.: bag tucking, packing/stacking, component placing). * Expertise to operate packaging equipment at standard, occasionally. * Expertise to work in high and confined spaces, occasionally. * Expertise to complete product and packaging change overs on equipment, occasionally. * Expertise to fill and transfer bulk bags up to 50lbs.
