Forklift Operator OUTLINE for Forklift Operator: Experienced, licensed forklift operator will move packages and materials in, around and between our warehouses and to/from loading bays, utilizing the utmost care to ensure safety. Forklift operator will communicate directly with the Warehouse Manager to achieve optimum level of efficiency. REQUIREMENTS for Forklift Operator: Must possess a valid forklift certification with a min of 1 yr background. Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment. Expertise to organize and maintain inventory, activity logs, and perform regular maintenance. Able to lift 50lbs. on a regular basis. Must successfully pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Forklift Operator: Unload materials and effects from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places. Transport materials or effects to designated trucks or loading bays. Keep updated records on the locations of liftvans and/or storage crates.
