Responsible for answering the Transfer Hotline and routine calls to the appropriate physician and/or locations. This especially includes Trauma Com and ER to ER calls. Responsible for the quality of care through supervision and management of activities and effective process flow relating to the nursing care of patients in the hospital on the assigned shift. Is able to problem solve and evaluate nursing care provided on the units and assign personnel accordingly.
