Claim Examiner II - (Atlanta, GA)

RLI's Transportation Group is hiring a Claim Examiner II to work out of the Atlanta, GA office. Main duties will include: -Maintain claim files and ensure claims have full coverage, are properly documented, adjusted, and paid. -Investigate, analyze, and review new and reassigned claims for coverage, liability, damages, and reserves. -Manage surveyors, investigators, adjusters and experts as needed. -Participate in special claim projects and other duties as needed. Required skills -Background in handling material damage claims arising from trucking, bus and/or commercial auto policyholders. -Be proactive in initial investigation, claim handling, litigation management, and resolution. -Strong verbal and writing skills to work efficiently with insureds, underwriters and claimants. -Strong written and spoken communication. -Excellent negotiation skills -Current expertise of PCs. -Must be detail-oriented and practice good management skills. -Self-motivated and task-oriented.
