Overview The Vice President of Accounting will present a challenging but rewarding opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of our company, by truly owning the Accounting arm for Company. This person will develop and scale our existing Accounting team, while driving improvements of existing processes and procedures. Responsibilities As Vice President of Accounting, your typical day will look like this: Manage Accounting Team performance metrics closely and provide ongoing feedback to Directors, Managers and staff to ensure that they remain aligned with company goals and objectives Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close and related reporting including: account reconciliations, credit card processing, fixed assets, accounts payable and payroll activities Hire, train, and develop accounting professionals in a wide variety of areas including, but not limited to, team building, people skills, relationship building
