Switchboard Operator General Description Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Security, the Switchboard Operator manages the switchboard and paging system.Performs light clerical duties as assigned.Essential responsibilities - Answers all incoming and in-house telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.- Provides physician answering service functions to include beepers and direct calls.- Performs in-house paging for physicians, staff and other personnel per policy.- Places and logs long distance phone calls.- Operates Deaf Communication Device (TDD).Qualifications: -High-school degree or GED required. -one year to Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled Category: Customer Service , Keywords: Telephone Operator
