Responsibilities to include: Patrol buildings and ground to prevent fires, vandalism and theft by way of motor vehicle and foot. To ensure the safety and security of patients, parents, visitors, and employees. Maintain constant communications with the Command Center and other division personnel by two-way radio. Ensure that only authorized personnel are admitted onto hospital premises; confront unauthorized persons for questions, routing or detainment appropriate to the circumstance.
