DESCRIPTION Paralegal: The West Virginia State Bar has an immediate professional opportunity for a Paralegal in Kanawha County, West Virginia. This position provides assistance to the West Virginia State Bar's Unlawful Practice of Law Committee, the Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) Advisory Committee and the Executive Director of the State Bar. Serves as an investigator for all work of the West Virginia State Bar's Unlawful Practice of Law Committee; duties will be handled under the direct supervision of the chairperson of the State Bar Unlawful Practice of Law Committee and the Executive Director of the West Virginia State Bar. Duties and assignments include acknowledging and investigating complaints of unlawful practice; recommending dismissal of any complaint found to be unsubstantiated following investigation; recommending institution of appropriate proceedings
