Environment Health & Safety Coordinator - (Upper Marlboro, MD)
Major Job Functions: * Maintain documentation and document control for the overall Finning Health and Safety program, includes creating new policies, drafting safe work practices documentation, maintaining forms, and reviewing all documentation periodically * Complete special, ad hoc, projects, as assigned * Maintain the Health and Safety department's internal web siteSpecific Skills: * Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written correspondence skills * Accuracy and attentive to detail * Excellent organizational and prioritization skills * Expertise to communicate and build rapport with key people within the organization Knowledge: * Proficient in Microsoft office suite applications * Knowledgeable in documentation creation and standardization * Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) legislation as it relates to the industries that Finning (Canada) participates in * Familiar with Finning's business and history * Familiar with internal management systems, specifically Khalix
