Senior Actuarial Director - Homeowners Property Insurance Job - (Bradenton, FL)

Manage reserving, ratemaking, pricing, forecasting, and trend analysis activities of Actuarial team for homeowners property products. Activities: *** Develop suggested rates and rating factors in line with business qualifications based on product, marketing, and underwriting needs. *** Oversee rate filing process with Office of Insurance Regulation to obtain regulatory approval. *** Perform profitability analysis helping to maintain rate adequacy. *** Develop and maintain quantitative, diagnostic tools to be used by underwriters in pricing individual risks and managing a portfolio of business. *** Analyze claims and exposure data to develop proprietary pricing factors and models. *** Collect, organize, and verify loss reserve data. *** Conduct, analyze, and recommend loss ratio adjustments on a monthly and quarterly basis. *** File all reserve and loss related GAAP data in accordance to regulatory standards. *** Determine team objectives and set priorities. *** Hire and train Junior Actuarial staff.
