City Rochester State Minnesota Telecommute No Department Sports Medicine Job details Provides athletic training services in the interscholastic, intercollegiate, elite amateur, professional and recreational setting including event coverage. Provides athletic training services to athletes to include evaluation, 1st aid, and injury prevention. Communicates/collaborates with patient, physician, physical therapist and other teammates regarding patient progress, response to treatment, goals, and program changes. Clearly presents verbal and written instructions to patients and their families in appropriate terminology. Requirements A baccalaureate or graduate degree in athletic training and certification by the National Athletic Trainer's Association, along with Minnesota Athletic Trainer license is required. CPR certification is required. Must be able to demonstrate clinical proficiency with good manual dexterity in order to manipulate treatment equipment.
