Reporter Position Available Woodburn Independent Pamplin Media Group The Woodburn Independent in Woodburn Oregon, a member of the Pamplin Media Group, is seeking a General News Reporter adept at coverage of spot news as well as in-depth enterprise journalism. This position covers city and county government, crime/court, education and business. We need someone who loves to chase down leads to break news, is versed in digital media, with photography and layout background. A bachelor's degree in journalism or communications and an understanding of AP style is preferred. Woodburn is located approx 30 mis south of Portland and fifteen miles north of Salem. This is full-time position that will include a medical and dental insurance plan, 401K plan, life insurance and paid vacation earned during the 1st year.
