Automation Engineer - (Sumterville, FL)

SUMMARY The Automation Engineer is responsible for the plant process control system [PCS], application programming, testing, and maintenance. REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES Write and troubleshoot programs in Siemens S7 locally and Allen Bradley PLCs through the factory talk studio engineering workstation. Responsible for Plantwide VFD control and communication Responsible for preventative/predictive maintenance of the control system, with a focus on optimization and reliability of equipment. Responsible for optimizing and maintaining the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and working closely with Production with trends, reporting, control, alarms, and displays. Monitor and maintain all production communication systems, including calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting Allen Bradley remote Flex I/O. Maintain detailed records of modifications to control logic and work with other departments on plant automation and process optimization.
