Responsibilities of the Team Leader include, but are not limited to: Set up and operation of machines Troubleshoot issues Communication with department Manager and employees Training for new and existing employees Supervise and guide employees Qualifications of the Team Lead: High-school diploma required; technical degree preferred Basic technical skills Outstanding written and verbal communications Mechanically inclined Supervisory background in a manufacturing environment ISO 9001, lean manufacturing, 5S a plus Familiarity with equipment, tools, and measuring instruments Expertise to read and understand job instructions
