Mauser USA, LLC Job description Title: MRO Buyer Location: Warren Metal Main responsibilities: * Work directly with the Maintenance Manager on procurements and inventories * Prepare RFQ's, examine prices, evaluate all quotes and warranty agreements that are received, monitor the availability of items, compare specifications, and review alternatives to determine the most desirable suppliers in accordance with supplier management guidelines * Maintain info records (including maintenance room inventory) and source list; maintain optimum inventory levels * Issue, maintain, and store purchase orders for supplies and services for all departments in order to support ongoing plant operations * Maintain supplier relationships focusing on superior quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery * Communicate with suppliers concerning RFQ's, purchase orders, deliveries
