Senior Veterinary Technician - Emergency and Critical Care Job - (North Andover, MA)

Bulger Animal Hospital is looking for a full time Veterinary Technician for our Emergency and Critical Care Department in North Andover, Massachusetts. About the Job: As a Vet Tech in the Emergency and Critical Care department you will be responsible for: • Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit • Partner with DVM's in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures, and catheter placement • Performing anesthetic monitoring including intubation/extubation of patients, monitoring vitals, and troubleshooting of machines • Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates. • Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment • Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events Applicants must have flexibility in scheduling which may include a combination of days, nights, overnights, rotating holidays and a weekend shifts.
