Licensed Veterinary Technicians We are actively seeking an experienced, dedicated, hardworking, and self-driven individuals to join our 24-hour emergency department at the Peninsula Animal Referral Center. There are many responsibilities of an LVT in this busy emergency hospital setting, where patient and client care is our top priority. Assignments include: 24/7 patient care Venipuncture Placement of IV catheters Management of an anesthetized patient Assisting in surgical procedures Drug calculations, to include CRI's, blood transfusions, ER drugs, controlled drugs and more Collection of fluid samples Correctly documenting treatments and medical notes Fill prescriptions Perform diagnostics, including but not limited to, radiographs, IDEXX lab equipment and other diagnostic tools, Fecals
