Cardiovascular Sonographer FT/40HRS Description The Cardiovascular Sonographer will perform diagnostic cardiovascular ultrasound studies and provides written technical impressions to assist cardiologists with interpretations.Qualifications EDUCATION: High-school degree or equivalent required.Two Year allied health education program that is patient care related or Certification from a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Program.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Certification; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Certification required, or Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS).Dual registry in cardiac and vascular highly preferred.SKILLS: Must possess strong organizational, time management, detail and communication abilities; the expertise to prioritize projects and work in a high energy, frequently crisis driven environment.Basic technical skills required
