Senior Electrical Design Engineer - (Chanhassen, MN)

Description As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with the Rosemount Nuclear and Subsea business unit, the employee will be responsible for sustaining and new product development electrical design work for instrumentation used in some of the most safety critical applications on the market. The general scope of work will include circuit analysis and design, electrical component selection and obsolescence management, design improvements and enhancements, circuit troubleshooting, and development and execution of testing to support, qualify, and document design changes. Technologies supported will include analog and digital electronics. Responsibilities Serve as the product expert for all aspects of the electrical design on assigned products Understand electrical sources of error and develop and propose error mitigation methods Create design modifications and concepts to support emerging customer needs or sustaining design changes Conduct circuit modeling and develop lab tests to validate design options
