Engineering Solderer and Assembler - 1st Shift - (Lowell, MA)

A client, located in Northern Massachusetts, is seeking an Engineering Solderer and Assembler to join their team on first shift Job summary: This position will be in support of Engineers and Senior Technicians working in a product development lab. Assembly will be done with solder paste and working with a heat stage. Will do rework as well as cut and trace. Work with are solder wire, different epoxy will be used, pick dies, and put on epoxy and then bake in the oven and set oven temps. Access drawings and prints on computer via Agile (which they will train) and find components in the stockroom on own and kit their own job when needed, basic inspection of own pc boards and units under high-power magnification for part placement and conduct tests as directed by engineers. Qualifications: Must be IPC-A-610 & J-STD-001 certified (expired is acceptable). Will work with lead and lead free solder.
