Production Supervisor - (Joplin, MO)

Location: Joplin, Missouri - United States The Production Supervisor has accountability to lead operations including hourly production employees at the Joplin, MO, manufacturing facility and is a key person responsible to develop and maintain an energized environment where employees collaborate closely to safely produce quality products that meet or exceed our customers requirements and maximize company growth and earnings. The shifts are twelve hours (non-rotating) in length. This position reports to: Operations Leader Span of Control: twenty hourly employees (non-union) JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Living the safety stand and adhering to safety responsibilities Ensure employees completion of all required safety training. Lead execution of monthly team safety requirements including completion of behavior-based safety observations, near miss reporting, safe work permits, safety meetings, pre-shift safety inspections, departmental inspections, etc. and builds a culture where safety is the number 1 priority.
