INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER POSITION OVERVIEW The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for overseeing an performing all the internal audit functions of the organization including the development of an annual internal audit plan, conducting audits, and preparing audit reports. The position will develop procedures, schedules, priorities, and programs for achieving audit objectives and goals. Audits may be financial or operational and will be performed in accordance with the code of ethics and the standards for the professional practice of internal auditing. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Education and/or background: Requires a B.S. degree with a major in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Management; 2 to 5 years' background in auditing is preferred, and background in a healthcare setting is a plus. . Masters degree in Business Administration or Accounting and/or Certified Internal Auditoe (CIA) is a plus.
