Assistant Softball Coach - (Thibodaux, LA)

Position summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides instruction during practice (drills, exercises, scrimmages, rules, scouting) and coaching during competition Actively participates in practice as needed by hitting infield or pitching batting practice Recruits student-athletes who meet the NCAA eligibility standards and the university's admissions requirements Coordinate travel planning and team arrangements Assist in management of budget, travel and equipment Use film software for practice and game video Plans and executes camps and clinics with head coach Complete daily administrative tasks as assigned by the head coach Ensures compliance with all university, Southland Conference and NCAA rules and regulations Accountable for ensuring that affirmative action, equal opportunity, and diversity are integrally tied to all actions and decisions in areas of responsibility.
