Lead Design Engineer, Project Management - (Orange City, IA)

Essential Duties and Assignments include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.) Design Engineering: Designs and develops products and generates design control documentation as needed. Advises engineering staff on aspects of design and project management. May supervise support staff including interns, mechanical designers and junior engineers. Project Management: Plans, schedules, and manages product development projects. Provides inter/intradepartmental communication and info relating to new product, process improvement and continuation engineering projects. Facilitates communication between OEMs, PLM and design engineers on product design, product specification and development issues.
