Java Architect/Lead - (Hartford, CT)

Position overview: The Java Architect will be responsible for planning, analyzing and defining solutions for complex legacy systems through technical ability. -- Ensure the consistency and maintainability of Technical Solutions by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing the technical solutions. -- Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform -- Interact with customers IT and business stakeholders -- Prepare Work Breakdown Structure and estimates for technical solutions. -- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development team in design and implementation software components. -- Review all designs, code and unit test plans. -- Respond to inquiries concerning application development and support -- Assist in tracking the progress of the development to ensure established goals are met and ensure on-time delivery.
