Qualified candidates are very detail orientated, and possess the expertise to accurately monitor, control, and coordinate inventory, as well as, investigate count discrepancies. Inventory Specialists primary focus is to manage the flow of assigned goods and inventory cycle counting. Based on usage and demand, they must determine what goods need to be ordered. Inventory Specialists prepare documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and cycle counts, as well as, provide data entry transactions and adjustments. Inventory Specialists analyze, identify, recommend, and implement inventory strategies and management techniques to reduce inventory, while maintaining appropriate service levels.
