Senior Model Based Controls Engineer (# 8078) - (Columbus, IN)

Job Location: 1888 Poshard Drive, Columbus, IN 47203 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Responsibilities Architect and implement complex controls solutions for transmission power distribution systems in automobiles which includes UDS (Unified Diagnostic Services) related software design; Perform functional qualifications modification and review for transmission power distribution including MIL (model-in-loop), SIL (software-in-loop), PIL (processor-in-loop) & HIL (hardware-in-loop) verification; Stay abreast of new power distribution technology and competitive products; Apply quality assurance, creative thinking, and risk assessment to power distribution control systems; Communicate with external customers and adapt to shifting priorities in response to the needs of internal and external customers; Clarify and analyze project issues for transmission power distribution systems and apply lessons learned documentation to current issues; Compile data and defines changes required in software
