Medical Billing/Collections Representative - Medicare & Medicaid Experience - (Worcester, MA)

AdCare Hospital is looking for an experienced Medical Biller that has background in Medicare & Medicaid Billing and Collections. Under general supervision applicant is responsible for timely submissions of accurate insurance claims to all assigned 3rd-party payers as well as subsequent timely follow-up and appeals. Expertise to comprehend varied insurance documentation, analyze and reconcile accounts and follow detailed procedures in an organized and efficient manner. Min 1 year background with Medicare & Medicaid billing. Must be computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft office suite), and able to work in a quick paced environment while being self-directed. Strong attention to detail is a must. Background with insurance provider web sites, billing software, and knowledge of processing on-line claims preferred. 6 Months of in-patient hospital billing and substance abuse facility background desired.
