Biomedical Engineer - (Hamilton, MT)

Position Objective: The contractor shall provide ability to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) by providing reliable and safe medical equipment used for patient monitoring, imaging, diagnosis, and therapy in clinical research. Duties and Responsibilities Typical tasks that are assigned include: * Designs and develops biomedical equipment * Coordinates the testing and analysis processes * Tests the functionality of equipment and takes accuracy, sensitivity and selectivity measurements * Monitors biomedical equipment to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements * Provides technical training on equipment operations Min Requirements: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in biomedical engineering or a related position * Demonstrated knowledge of biomedical regulatory requirements * Proficiency with MATLAB and CAD desired * Proficiency with Ms office (Microsoft word, Microsoft excel
