Lead Mobile Equipment Operator 1st Shift Plant 17 - (Longview, TX)

Description Trinity Industries Operates mobile equipment such as lift trucks, overhead cranes, track mobiles/switch engine and/or yard vehicles in order to move materials and products between work stations and/or receiving and storage locations. Ensures proper identification of parts and materials. Follows all safety rules and practices. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. Performs other duties as assigned. Operates several sizes of lift truck 15,000 - 30,000 lb capacity Operates overhead crane (stationary) May operate mobile crane (move across yard) Will operate large and small forklifts and overhead cranes. This position will primarily operate the large yard crane and be responsible for cycle counting, supply shops with material, shipping and receiving and housekeeping.
