Associate Buyer Facilities & Engineering Bothell, Washington Description Summary: The Associate Buyer is an entry level position that participates in all procurement activities within the organization. Daily tasks consist of approving requisitions, processing PO's, placing orders, checking on past due shipments, recording order confirmations, working with suppliers to obtain quotes, assisting all internal customers, and overseeing assigned campus services. This position works directly with the Purchasing Group under the Facilities Department while supporting all internal customers cross functionally. Responsibilities: Purchasing Management Process Daily Requisitions Process Order Follow-up Issues/Problems Process PO-Invoice and Credit Card Reconciliations Process New Vendor Setup Requests Quote Development and Basic Pricing Negotiation Credit Card Reconciliations Customer Support on Requisitioning Services Management (as assigned) Manage Breakroom Supplies in all Buildings Office Supply and Order Management
