Veterinary Assistant Instructor - (Modesto, CA)

Teach depth and scope of class materials as described in syllabi and catalog and relates the instruction to careers and employer expectations. Works creatively in all classes taught to discourage student withdrawal and maintain satisfactory retention. Utilize a variety of teaching styles and methods to accommodate diverse learning styles of students. Prepare and utilize approved lesson plans. Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives. Prepare student progress reports and grade reports; maintaining accurate and timely attendance records. Call students who are absent and submit written reports of pertinent details to the Director. Attend faculty meetings. Follow the school academic policies at all times. Attend Professional Development as required. Other duties as assigned
